Call for Proposals for Facilitating Village Land Use Planning in 15 Villages in Total in Lindi and Ruvuma Regions
The Forestry and Value Chains Development Programme (FORVAC) is a 4-year Programme funded by the Governments of Tanzania and Finland. The implementing agency of the programme is the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Tanzania. FORVAC aims to increase economic, social and environmental benefits from forests and woodlands while reducing deforestation. FORVAC focuses on forest value chains development based on production of timber, charcoal, and non-wood forest products (NWFP) in the Village Land Forest Reserves. Currently, FORVAC in looking for a service provider to facilitate implementation of the Land Use Planning (LUP) process in fifteen (15) villages in total in Lindi and Ruvuma Regions.
