Peter O'Hara
Chief Technical Advisor (CTA)
Peter O'Hara works as a Team Leader of the FORVAC, supervising and leading the Technical Assistance (TA) team. Together with the team, he is responsible for planning and implementation of the programme activities, monitoring and evaluation and reporting. Peter O'Hara has a focal role in liaison with national and international partners and other stakeholders of the programme. In parallel with forest value chain development, he provides technical backstopping on related community-based forestry, capacity development and policy process support.
Emma Nzunda
National Programme Coordinator (NPC)
Emma Nzunda bears overall responsibility for the management of inputs provided by the Government of Tanzania, ensuring that these are used appropriately and efficiently. She also supports programme planning, implementation progress and impact monitoring for FORVAC to achieve planned objectives and targets. Nzunda also facilitates integration of programme interventions into operations of the Forestry and Beekeeping Division of the MNRT and Local Government operations.
Eric Mabewa Henry
Finance and Administration Manager (FAM)
Eric Mabewa works with FORVAC’s financial planning, budgeting and budget monitoring. He is also is responsible for managing human resource, FORVAC offices, other fixed assets and day-to-day accounting and preparation of periodic accounts and financial reports. Eric Mabewa also oversees our Cluster Coordinators on their financing modalities including reporting and monitoring.
Nette Korhonen
Monitoring, Evaluation and Communication Expert
Nette Korhonen works as an International Monitoring, Evaluation and Communication Expert. Together with the team, she documents, reports and disseminates the programme's successes and lessons learnt. She supports the team in planning and implementing the programme activities and monitoring and evaluating the progress of the programme.
Marcel Mutunda
Forest Management Expert (FME)
Marcel Mutunda works as FORVAC’s Forest Management and Value Chain Expert. In his duties, he promotes Community Based Forest Management (CBFM) and the development of related value chains deriving from the districts and villages covered by the programme. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing and guiding operations of the FORVAC clusters located in the regions of Lindi and Ruvuma and coordinating the local level implementation and activities of FORVAC in Liwale district in Lindi Cluster.
Petro Masolwa
Cluster Coordinator (CC), Ruvuma region
Petro Masolwa is responsible for FORVAC’s local level implementation and activities in the five districts of Ruvuma region, namely districts of Namtumbo, Songea, Mbinga, Nyasa and Tunduru. He prepares Ruvuma cluster’s work plans and budgets for activities and provides information and guidance at village and district levels on the FORVAC approach and opportunities and benefits of Village Land Forest Reserves and CBFM related value chains.
Eustack Bonifasi,
Cluster Coordinator (CC), Lindi region
Eustack Bonifasi coordinates the local level implementation and activities of FORVAC in two districts, Ruangwa and Nachingwea, in Lindi region. He prepares work plans and budgets for activities and provides information and guidance at village and district levels on the FORVAC approach and opportunities and benefits of Village Land Forest Reserves and CBFM related value chains.
